Alternative Walking Tour
The 4-5 hour walking tour is a fascinating journey from East to West Beirut, unlayering 4 different neighborhoods. It recounts stories of various themes from the civil war, gentrification, political-socio-economic developments, economic crisis, graffiti, among others. In doing so, the tour explores the depth of both Beirut’s past and present. The tour stops at various alternative and authentic spots for refreshments and snacks.

When: Every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at 10:30 am.
Meeting point: Starting from the top of the St. Nicolas Staircase (NOT the St. Nicolas Church) in Gemmayzeh.
Ending point: Bab Idriss, next to the old Holiday Inn Hotel.
