Achrafieh
A melting pot of several East Downtown Beirut areas, Ashrafieh is a busy yet tranquil residential and commercial space. Consisting of many roads
that act as hills ascending and descending into the Ashrafieh areas such as the picturesque Monot, Sodeco and twisting around into Sassine and its central square.
Its urban planning is filled with streets that are comprised of lines of trees on either side mirroring one another as if to set a trail ablaze
for you to peacefully walk through. Ashrafieh's architecture is very heavily centric around traditional French and Ottoman houses but also
juxtaposed by contemporary and tall office buildings. It is a home to parks, museums, bars, cafes, and restaurants.
